About Dr. Tamara Oppliger

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia, and my goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative therapy space where you feel met with care, compassion, and respect. I value getting to know you – the real you – including the ups, downs, and everything in between.

People come to therapy for many reasons: to better understand themselves, to heal from past trauma, or to create meaningful change so they can live the life they want. As your therapist, I will work alongside you using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I believe therapy is both an art and a science, and our work together will always be shaped by your needs. Throughout our time together, I will periodically ask for your feedback so we can check in, adjust, and pivot when needed.

Ultimately, I am here to listen, support, and gently challenge you in ways that foster growth and positive change.
